DeSoto Trace President Gene Rasure, Past President Charles McLemore, & Secretary Jimmie Weber at the January 11, 2020 meeting in colonial period uniforms.
DeSoto Trace President Charles McLemore was recognized by the Arkansas Secretary of State for Distinguished Service as president of the DeSoto Trace Chapter Sons of the American Revolution at the Dec. 14th 2019 meeting. The award was presented by Jimmie Weber.

At the January 12, 2019 meeting Captain Augustine was awarded the Law Enforcement Award by President Dick O’Connell of the Gen. Lafayette Chapter SAR with 18 Compatriot members in attendance. Captain Augustine is a recent graduate of the FBI Academy, has been in law enforcement for 26 years (15 for the Sheriff’s Department), and is married to a deputy sheriff. He has 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Congratulations and THANK YOU for your service!
